**IT’S TIME TO ROCK ‘N ROLL  AT AQUA IDOL ON FEB. 26!!!!…The Waterfront Playhouse and I…invite YOU to enjoy another wonderful night of musical entertainment at AquaPlex at 711 Duval St…..presented by our sensational Contestants…..And they are….JOE TRIPP….FLOYD JENKINS….GREG FISHER ……JORDAN SOMMER….JIM  SPEAKE….BAHAMA BOB LEONARD…… JIMMY OLSON….TENNESSEE BETTY CARRAWAY….TREY FORSYTH ….CLAIRE CAPLAN…. AND JERRY HUGHES…..They will get everyone to rock the night away!    Showtime is 6:00 PM…Get there EARLY for a good seat…..Laurie Thibaud is our Emcee…. Joining Christopher Peterson and Me as Celebrity Judge is the one and only BRIA ANSARA!!!!!   Guest vocalists are Bria Ansara and Jess Wachs.   On Feb. 26 All Contestants will be called onstage at the end of the evening and 5 contestants will be eliminated that night.  The Remaining six will sing two songs in the Finale and compete for the coveted title of 2024 Waterfront Playhouse Aqua Idol.  Top 3 will receive great prize packages and 4-6 will receive consolation prizes.  All proceeds raised during the evening go to support the Waterfront Playhouse, and we are eternally grateful for all our performers and Audience Members!   ESPECIALLY THIS WEEK…..I remind you that if you have a favorite singer you want to remain in the competition, please donate generously during their performance or online (more on that below, next.).  WE HOPE TO SEE YOU ALL AT THE MARCH 4 FINALE!!!!!   Thanks to all for supporting this Event!

THE BROADWAY CRUISE  STOPS IN KEY WEST ON MARCH 14…..Going on this Cruise with Broadway Stars has always been on my TO DO List….That dream has also been friend, Joanie Sullivan’s…but SHE is finally making her dream come true and is going on that Cruise and  she is excited beyond words!  She let me know that cruise ship, Norwegian Pearl, will dock in Key West from 7 am to 3:30 pm…before it moves on to the next Island Port.  She asks that if Bars & Restaurants that have daytime Music happening, to please contact her at jsullivan@me.com, and she will mention it on the Broadway Cruise FACEBOOK page.  She asks that all establishments give these Broadway Stars a big Key West Welcome.  Some of the amazing Stars scheduled to be on this Cruise are BERNADETTE PETERS, NORM LEWIS, KERRY BUTLER, CHRISTIAN BORLE, SANTIAGO FONTANA, CHEYENNE JACKSON, ALI STROKER, DAPHNE RUBIN-VEGA, MATT DOYLE, KENNEDY REID, and many more, including Broadway writers, directors, producers, etc.  The pianist on the Cruise is HENRY KOPERSKI who you may remember as he used to occasionally have gigs at The Key West Piano Bar (that we ALL loved and miss so much!!!).  Sure would be great fun to ‘bump into’ and hob nob with these Show Biz folk when they are in town!!!!
