Winds Were Howling, Tarpon were Rolling
Monday, November 11, 2013
Miguel was visiting from Spain and called Capt. Dexter Simmons to help him catch his first Tarpon on fly.
Only trouble was that a cold front had brought in 25-30 knot North winds.
Capt. Dexter still thought they could get it done.
Hours later…
Miguel hooks up this Tarpon of about 15 pounds, one of 3 during the his morning trip.
And another young jumper!
Then a third brought to boat!
There are Tarpon, Permit and Bonefish available year ’round here in the Keys.
