THANKFUL THURSDAY….

Another Thankful Thursday, but no one sent anything in!!!!  I guess I will once again have to come up with something…Actually, I could fill a book with all that I am thankful for.  But just for today, I am thankful for another beautiful day in Paradise, and the chance to enjoy music, and art, and most of all the great people whom I call my friends!  Bless you all!

 

WILLIAM WELCH OPENING AT FRANGIPANI GALLERY..

Artist, William Welch opened his wonderful new exhibit at Frangipani Gallery at 1102A Duval St. tonight from 6 to 9 PM…The show, called “Souvenirs” will presented the beautiful watercolor and oil paintings by this modern day Impressionist!  It was great seeing so man familiar faces enjoying the reception at the exhibit.  This new Gallery, owned by artist Fran Decker is open every day from 10 AM until 6 PM.  Call 296-0440 for further information.

KONK 1500 AM RADIO…1/6…

Visiting artist in residence at The Studios of Key West has an opening at the Armory at 600 White St. tonight, 1/6 from 5:30 to 7:30 PM….She is Michael shield’s guest on ArtWaves from 11 to Noon!  She will talk about her work and the show, called, ‘Spirometry.’

 

BOBBY NESBITT AT AQUA LAST NIGHT…

So great to see such a super crowd at Aqua enjoying the always marvelous Bobby Nesbitt!  Loved chatting with David Bray, Mary Jo, Larry Harvey, who was in great voice, June & Bill Hudson, Louis Petrone, Mark Watson, Tom & Kathy Cawley, Hy conrad and Jeff Johnson and their Alaskan friend, Nan, and Alan Ferguson…and many more!  Bobby is there every Wed. at 5:30 to 7:30 PM.

 

REESE PALLEY LECTURE….1/6…

Author, Reese Palley talks about his latest book, “Concrete: A Seven Thousand Year History,” at the Key West Library…Book signing at 9:30 AM and Lecture at 10 AM.
